IRIS Education's College, Streaming Media Project is a collaborative effort between the Telecourse producers: Annenberg Media,Coast Learning Systems, Dallas TeleLearning, Governor's State University and Intelecom offers innovations in distance education and online learning.

Approximately 100 full telecourse series are being streamed from the data center located at Seattle Community College who is the provider of the Internet video distribution (WWW and Internet2) and holds the bandwidth necessary to accommodate simultaneous multiple streams in a learn anywhere, anytime environment. Students utilizing this service will receive Telecourses in a video on demand format.

IRIS Education provides custom websites, technical and customer support, and site administration . The service will be made available to all students enrolled in Telecourses worldwide who have a high speed internet connection. Students will be charges a $35 streaming access fee per course unless institutions have made other arrangements with IRIS Education.

Licensing Telecourses

Those institutions wishing to license telecourses are asked to contact the telecourse producers directly to obtain a license.

To begin the process in offering digital streaming to your students, please contact us. We will ask you to submit distance education contact information and a term schedule 30 days prior to each term start date. In order for students to access these telecourses, institutions must be licensed by the producer.
